Donor support

Support from donors like yourself helps make possible not only research toward our mission of "a world without Alzheimer's", but also the Big Sioux Chapter's local services and support throughout northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska.

If you would prefer not to donate online, you can do so either by phone (call us at 800.272.3900) or through the mail (see bottom of page). MasterCard and Visa are accepted. You can support the Chapter's programs and services in a variety of ways.

Direct contributions are tax-deductible and can be designated for general operating support, for Alzheimer research, or for specific programs and services. By naming the Big Sioux Chapter in your donation for Alzheimer research, the Chapter qualifies for operational credit from the national Alzheimer's Association.

Memorials and honoraria are a way for family or friends to celebrate the memory of loved ones, or to honor those marking a special occasion. Acknowledgements for memorials and honoraria are made both to the contributor and to designated individuals; these individuals are also listed in the Chapter's quarterly newsletter.

Employee giving programs can help contribute to the Chapter's mission and services by designating a fixed amount to be deducted from each paycheck. If your place of business doesn't have an employee giving program, we can help you design one. If you do have such a program, please consider the Big Sioux Chapter as your designated charity. Many companies also have matching gift programs that can help maximize the value of their employees' gifts.

Event sponsorships: Your business or organization can receive recognition and visibility by sponsoring a special event of the Chapter, either in whole or in part. The Wine and Roses Festival takes place in early April, the Siouxland Senior Open golf tournament in mid-May, and the Alzheimer's and Related Dementia Conference in August. Also, throughout the summer and fall, Memory Walk is held in communities across Siouxland, providing an excellent opportunity for individual or team participation.
